Back Down the Mountain

After a couple thousand miles, the Redeemer Mountain TOP Team rolled back into town after another great week "on the mountain." What a journey! Our travels included a stop at "Buc-ee's" in Virginia, a Sunday morning worship with Tennessee Lutherans, various worksites across a large swarth of the Cumberland Plateau, numerable side trips for ice cream, and a week's-worth of worship, community sharing and volleyball at camp. We reconnected with "old friends" from last year's trip, and we made a few more. And somewhere in the middle of all the fun and worship and hard work, God showed up. As predicted.

We took lots of pictures, and we have already recorded our individual reflections on our experiences while they were still fresh in our minds. We look forward to sharing our experience with you at our special Mountain TOP Service on Rally Day, September 13th.
